Great food, very tasty Harz home-style cooking and very, very nice service. There is actually a lot of space there, but unfortunately C-19 makes the rooms smaller. Make a reservation for the evening.

The portions are good. Solid food, fast service, nothing to complain about. Thank you.

Somewhat inconspicuous from the outside. Food but tip top. And to shorten the waiting time, there was fresh bread and delicious spreads.

Delicious food typical resin. Very good meat (schnitzel, game), great quality. Very fair price. Also vegetarian dishes. Children's portions are also available. Friendly, quick service. Everything really perfect all round.

5 stars for this great kitchen. We had the wild boar roast with red cabbage and dumplings and a schnitzel with cream mushrooms and two side salads. The red cabbage was finely balanced with cinnamon, very creamy, the meat very tender. Absolutely amazing. This is home cooking the way you like it. And a nice service too. A great way to end the day. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is very good. Kudos to the chef, he deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the service, which has already been described in detail here, was extremely rude to an older woman. I had the feeling to be annoying to her, she would have liked to have sent me upstairs. If you no longer enjoy your work, in the interests of the inn, it is better to stop.

We can only thank the cook for the delicious game goulash and the delicious steak. An absolute culinary delight. The waitress, an elderly lady with short dark hair, was extremely unfriendly towards us. We, 43 years old and tourists, are not welcome in the witch's house because of our age or not from the area. We waited at the entrance for the waitress to assign us a table. The waitress noticed us, but ran past us to the counter and said rudely "evening" without looking at us. Nevertheless, we greeted her warmly and called out to her that we would like to dine here. She still didn't look at us and said "table upstairs and left". At that time there were only four guests on site. The waitress cannot have been stressed and even if she does, she should rethink her job. We sat down at the said table as requested. The waitress came to us, put the menus down to us without a word, and left. She came back later and took our order, but every additional question was too much for her. She let us feel this clearly with looks and gasps. And now it comes: When we paid we gave a tip of 5 € -exclusively for the cook- Suddenly the service was so friendly. Conclusion: Retirees are welcome, but not “young tourists”. Kudos to the chef! The food was excellent and we hope the chef will get some of the tip.

Fortunately, even in Corona times, there is still at least one restaurant where you can get very good food with a great price-performance ratio during the week in the evenings: The meat was juicy and tender - the sauce was super delicious - homemade / no ready-made food. We can only recommend it.

We visit this restaurant regularly because they offer very good dishes for our taste. The staff is very nice and the waiting times are short. If you order a schnitzel dish You can even hear the chef knocking it fresh 😊

The food was good, unfortunately the service was not very friendly. Service seems to be a foreign word here. I will not come back here again.

Our food was spot on, great environment and very friendly waitress, she threw in a few funny comments when possible, made a good impression and we had a little laugh. My only minus is that there wasn’t much i would like on the menu card, but i’m picky. Overall a great experience, highly recommend it☺️

Really good food. Price is not expensive at all. But the reason I only give it 4 stars is that it was a bit too salted and peppered when I got it. And the service lady was a bit all over the place and when we were ordering she straight up turned around and talked to someone else that wasn't seated or from the restaurant. All in all delicious food but just let me pepper it next time ;p
